Important Announcement regarding COVID-19 and CPAC
The safety of our audience and employees is CPAC’s greatest priority.
Cessnock Performing Arts Centre is actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and will act promptly on any updated advice from the Australian Government Department of Health.
CPAC is also acting on advice from Live Performance Australia (LPA) which is the peak body for the live performance industry. You will likely have read about the closure of Broadway Theatres in New York and the postponement of some music festivals in Australia.

As a regional area in Cessnock, we do not have the same number of patrons coming through our doors as these organisations. To date, we have not received any advice that would alter our performance schedule and we look forward to welcoming you to the theatre soon. If we do need to close our doors, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund or exchange.

Precautionary measures

We are taking the following precautionary measures:

• Increased the frequency and detail of daily cleaning of the theatre by professional cleaners

• Hand sanitiser available for all patrons and staff

If you have travelled to or had contact with someone returning from a high risk area, please follow advice from the Australian Government, particularly regarding isolation protocol.

If you are unwell, the recommendation is you stay at home.

If you are a ticket holder

Ticket refunds are available in accordance with our ticketing policy. If you are requesting an exchange or refund based on medical advice regarding COVID – 19 or because you should be isolated at this time, please cite this reason when discussing your request with the Box Office staff.
