Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, our primary focus has been on the health and safety of our patrons, performers, volunteers and staff – it has always been, and will continue to be, our greatest priority. We will continue to follow the recommendations of health authorities, government and industry bodies. Whilst we are thrilled to be opening our doors to the public and welcoming live performance back to our stage, we have had to make some changes to the ways in which we operate.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A PERFORMANCE IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED COLD OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS IN THE LAST 14 DAYS, HAVE A TEMPERATURE AND/OR BEEN IN CONTACT WITH A CONFIRMED CASE OF COVID-19. CONTACT OUR BOX OFFICE ON 02 4993 4266 PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE.
Practice safe hygiene. Wash your hands correctly (with soap and water for at least 20 seconds) and as often as possible.
Please use the sanitiser provided at numerous points throughout the venue.
Please be aware of space during your visit. Give other patrons space when you are in the venue and maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres of space at all times.
If you are visiting CPAC during Box Office opening hours (currently 9am to 4:30pm Mondays through Fridays) we will be asking you to register your name and phone number for contact tracing purposes. Rest assured that your contact information will be held in strict accordance with relevant privacy legislation and requirements.
We have implemented capacity restrictions for all areas within the CPAC building, which are clearly signposted and are being safely managed by our staff. We ask that you adhere to maximum patron limits in areas of the building.
In order to avoid mingling, patrons at all venues in NSW are required by law to be seated. You may also be politely asked to move through the CPAC foyer and not to linger—this is so people can access their allocated seat safely and efficiently.
We ask that you remain in your allocated seating for the performance.
We're trying to minimise the amount of physical cash that is being handled by our staff. We strongly encourage you to use contactless payment where possible.
Whilst the NSW Government have not mandated the wearing of face masks in public, we strongly recommend that patrons attending a performance at CPAC do so where possible for the safety of all patrons.
Hand sanitiser stations have been set up throughout the venue for our patrons and staff to use.
All areas of our venue have capacity restrictions in place. These are clearly signposted throughout the venue.
CPAC staff will be wearing face masks. Where possible, we encourage our patrons to do the same.
All CPAC events are ticketed, and patron contact details are collected at the time of purchase for contact tracing purposes. Your information is held in strict accordance with relevant privacy legislation and requirements.
Seating for all CPAC events is allocated to allow for appropriate social distancing measures to be followed. Whilst we will do our utmost to ensure that your seating preference is considered, it may be necessary for us to make seating alterations on the night of the performance.
Our staff will be on hand to assist with effectively managing queuing and movement throughout the venue, ensuring that social distancing measures are maintained. Depending on attendance numbers for your performance, this may mean there might be slight delays when entering and exiting the auditorium.
We have introduced thorough cleaning measures before, during and after events held at CPAC, that go above and beyond our usual high standards of cleanliness. This includes frequent cleaning and sanitising of all high touch surfaces throughout the venue.
CPAC is a registered COVID Safe venue. We have developed our COVID Safe plans in accordance with the strict guidelines set by the NSW State Government, NSW Health, and Live Performance Australia. We are continually monitoring any changes to these recommendations and updating our plans accordingly to reflect the most up-to-date requirements.
